• Check-in is at 9:55 a.m. at the Kugel Fountain, which is in front of the savannah yard next to Pritzker Penguin Cove. See this map for the exact location.
• You must wear closed-toe shoes. Open-toe shoes are not allowed inside the exhibit.
• This is a rain-or-shine event, so please dress for the weather.
• Parking is not included in your registration.
Registration Cancellation & Refund Policy
A full refund will be given if you cancel at least two business days prior to the penguin encounter. If you need to cancel your registration less than two business days prior to the penguin encounter, you will not receive a refund. In the event that Lincoln Park Zoo must cancel the encounter, a full refund will be issued. During the penguin encounter, guests are guaranteed to enter Pritzker Penguin Cove with zoo staff. This does not imply a guarantee that animals will approach or remain for a minimum amount of time. To ensure their comfort, penguins will be allowed to choose whether or not to enter the encounter area. No refund will be given if you enter Pritzker Penguin Cove but penguins are not present in the encounter area.
